Imphal : Tensions escalated in Kangpokpi today as an armed Kuki mob, reportedly supported by militants, attacked the SP office in protest against central forces occupying Kuki bunkers and dominating "Kuki red zones." These zones are alleged strongholds of armed Kuki militants who have been accused of targeting Meitei villages in the valley from hilltop positions.
